"I have been meaning to send this for some time. I have just put my Kasco 3/4HP De-Icer in the lake for its 5th season of problem free service. We live in Northern Ontario on Lake Muskoka. For many years the old boathouse and dock would rise and fall with the lake an din the spring, the annual repairs would start. Anyone living on a lake, especially one that fluctuates by a couple fee, knows of the damage done by ice to the crib work.

Our Winter temperatures can go above freezing for a few days then plummet to -30 and -40 degrees. I run the de-icer for 3 two hour periods per day on a timer. The opening might get as small as 20' across during the coldest periods, but opens to 50' or 60' when things get warmer. The damage has become a thing of the past. The initial cost has long been forgotten and my de-icer has paid for itself several times over by the savings on repairs. Many thanks to you." – David
