C-20 Time and Temperature Control Box

Kasco's C-20 Time and Temperature De-Icer Control is designed and engineered exclusively for outdoor use to operate your Kasco De-Icer with maximum energy conservation. How the control box is used will vary by region, but as a general guideline, most people will be able to reduce operation time and energy consumption by an additional 50-66%. Users in more severe conditions, such as the Great Lakes, will see less savings. The C-10 Time and Temperature Controller will save you money on your electric bills!

Using a Kasco 1/2hp, 2400D De-Icer and a C-20 Controller, you can avoid the hassle and expense of removing your dock and boat for as little as $15 per month!

The C-20 Time and Temperature Control Box is designed to utilize BOTH the Time AND Temperature features. By utilizing both functions, you can save power by only having the De-Icer running while it is cold enough and in set time intervals. It is recommended to have the unit on in at least 2 hour intervals to set up a proper circulation. Each situation is different and the amount of time needed to maintain an ice free area will differ accordingly. Also, conditions do vary during the year so operation may have to be altered to fit the conditions. The timer pins should be pulled upward for the desired time frame the De-Icer should be set to run. The thermostat dial should be set to the outside temperature the De-Icer should operate. When, and only when, the temperature drops below the temperature the thermostat is set in a time frame that the timer is ON (pins pulled upward), the De-Icer will operate.
