Kasco Photo Contest

Kasco is now accepting photos of Kasco units in action. If you own a Kasco De-Icer or Water Agitator or if you see one in use, snap a picture or two and send them to us for a chance to win $100. Entries will be accepted on an ongoing basis and winners will be selected quarterly. Winning entries will receive $100 and their picture will be used on the Kasco website and may even be used at industry trade shows, in local, regional, and/or national trade publications, etc. Please read the rules and hints below to ensure your entry is usable and has the best chance at winning. Kasco is also looking to feature Customer Testimonials online. See below for more details.

Photo Contest Rules

• Digital or 35mm Film entries will be accepted.

• If submitting a digital picture, files must be at least 300 dpi and in a JPEG, GIF, or TIFF format (JPEG preferred). Any digital entry that does not meet these requirements will not be considered.

• If submitting a 35mm film entry, a print plus the film or negative must be included. Any 35mm film entry that does not meet these requirements will not be considered.

• Entries must include your name, address, and phone number. Also, the model of the Kasco unit, and if possible, the year purchased and serial number. Only the winners's name and state will be posted online.

• All photographs and films will become the property of Kasco Marine, Inc. Kasco will reserve the right to publish and/or reprint any of the pictures.

• Digital Entries can be emailed to sales@de-icer.com or burned onto a CD and mailed to the above address. Remember, when emailing large files, it may take awhile to load and send, especially on dial-up internet connections. For these cases, it may be best to put the pictures on a CD and mail them.

• All winners will be notified by mail. First Quarter winners will be notified in early April, Second Quarter in early July, Third Quarter in early October, and Fourth Quarter in early January.

Photo Contest Hints

Taking photos of moving water can be tricky. Try taking several pictures at different times of the day because light levels can drastically effect the photo. Also try different angles, shutter speeds, zoom distances, etc. Multiple entries are accepted.

Customer Testimonials

You may have noticed or read some of the many Testimonials received from happy Kasco customers. We are always looking for your feedback on our equipment. You can email comments and pictures to sales@de-icer.com or mail a hard copy to the above address. Please include your name, address, and phone number (only first name and state will be used). Some helpful tips to being featured on the web are including the Kasco model used, pictures of the unit in use, your decision making process in choosing Kasco, your experiences with the equipment, results from using the equipment, your satisfaction level with the equipment and service, etc.
